COMMON QUESTIONS. CLEAR ANSWERS.

Frequently Asked Questions

Choosing an IT provider can raise a lot of questions. Here are straightforward answers about managed IT, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, support, onboarding, and working with Centricore.

01

Managed IT & Support

How support works and what businesses can expect.

What does a managed IT provider do?

A managed IT provider helps businesses maintain, support, secure, and improve their technology on an ongoing basis. Centricore can assist with day-to-day employee support, device monitoring, patching, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365 administration, backup monitoring, and technology planning.

The goal is to prevent problems where possible and provide responsive support when something does go wrong.

What size businesses do you work with?

Centricore primarily works with small and mid-sized businesses that need dependable IT support without building a large internal IT department. We can also work with organizations that already have internal IT staff and need additional resources or specialized support.

Do you provide onsite support?

Yes. Many issues can be handled remotely, which often allows for a faster response, but onsite support is available when a situation requires hands-on assistance.

What are your normal support hours?

Our standard support hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Emergency support is also available outside normal business hours when needed.

Do you support businesses that already have an IT person?

Yes. Our Co-Managed IT Services are designed for businesses that already have an internal technician or IT team but need additional help. We can assist with cybersecurity, monitoring, patching, Microsoft 365, backups, advanced troubleshooting, and technology planning.

Do you offer hourly or pay-as-you-go IT support?

In some situations, yes. Our primary focus is ongoing managed services because proactive monitoring, maintenance, and cybersecurity are usually more effective than waiting until something breaks. We can discuss whether managed services, co-managed IT, or another arrangement makes the most sense for your organization.

02

Security, Cloud & Data

Protection, Microsoft 365, backups, and AI.

Do you support Microsoft 365?

Yes. We can assist with Microsoft 365 licensing, account administration, email, Teams, security, user management, and general Microsoft 365 support. We can also help businesses evaluate Microsoft Copilot and other AI capabilities within Microsoft 365.

Services may include endpoint protection, identity protection, security monitoring, DNS protection, security awareness training, and human-led security monitoring.

Can you help us with AI and automation?

Yes. Centricore can help businesses evaluate practical uses for AI, implement Microsoft Copilot, automate repetitive workflows, establish AI security and governance practices, and train employees on responsible AI use. Our focus is on solving real business problems rather than implementing AI simply because it is available.

Working With Centricore

Changing providers, service areas, and what working together looks like.

Can you replace our current IT provider?

Yes. We can help manage the transition from another IT provider while working to minimize disruption to your employees and business operations. The transition may include gathering documentation, reviewing administrative access, verifying backups, reviewing Microsoft 365, installing monitoring and security tools, and identifying immediate technology concerns.

LEARN ABOUT SWITCHING PROVIDERS →
Is switching IT providers difficult?

It does not have to be. A good transition is largely about planning, documentation, and making sure the correct access and information are transferred. Centricore works through the process carefully so that support, security, Microsoft 365, backups, and other critical systems continue operating throughout the change.

What areas do you serve?

Centricore supports businesses in Ponca City and surrounding communities, as well as businesses in other areas of northern and northeastern Oklahoma. Remote support also allows us to assist many customers without needing to be physically onsite for every issue.

How much do managed IT services cost?

Pricing depends on factors such as the number of users, devices, technology environment, security requirements, and the services your business needs. We generally prefer predictable monthly pricing so businesses can better plan their technology expenses.

A Technology Review can help us understand your environment before recommending the appropriate service plan.

Getting Started

What happens next if you want to explore working with us.

What happens when we become a managed services customer?

The onboarding process generally includes reviewing your environment, documenting systems, deploying monitoring and security tools, reviewing Microsoft 365 and backups, and establishing the support process for your employees. We also look for immediate problems or risks that should be addressed during onboarding.

How do we get started?

A good first step is a Technology Review. We can discuss your current IT environment, support concerns, security needs, and business goals. From there, we can recommend practical next steps and determine whether Centricore is a good fit.
